Why Oshawa, why now
Oshawa put Canada on wheels and has been rebuilding itself ever since. What has not been built at the same pace is belonging — plenty of addresses, not enough tables.
We are being planted for exactly that: a house where the word is taught plainly, worship is not performance, and the person who walks in alone does not leave alone.
Those numbers are not decoration. They are the addresses we already visit.
The road to 7 October

Let’s Break Bread takes a meal to homes, dorms, shelters and parks. The church reaches the city before the city reaches the church.
Food, games, and the easiest way to meet the people you would be sitting with in October. Bring your family, bring a neighbour, bring nothing at all.
Worship, the word, and a room full of people who showed up for something new. The list hears the venue first.
When the doors open
Worship
Not a concert. Time given to God with the lights up and the room singing, however well you sing.
The Word
Scripture opened and explained, with something you can carry into Thursday. Borrow a Bible at the door.
Family
We do not clear the room when it ends. Food, conversation, and nobody left standing alone.

Long before a church has a room, it can have a table. We bring the food and come to you — a home, a dorm, a shelter, a park bench — for an hour of a shared meal, honest conversation and the love of Christ.
It costs nothing, you cook nothing, and you do not have to believe anything to be worth sitting with.
